Local Director Chris Newman FRICS is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He heads the Right Surveyors in Greater Manchester, an independent professional property consultancy providing an efficient and personal service tailored to the clients' needs.

Chris is an experienced professional with a diverse range of skills. Having lived in the Manchester area for the majority of his life, his experience, expertise and detailed knowledge of local property and market conditions means he is ideally placed to advise his clients on all types of work; from single fault assessments through to large scale building surveys.

A little background on Urmston:

Urmston Old Hall was the home of the manorial lord, and a centre of power in the area during the Middle Ages. The Old Hall was completely rebuilt in brick and timber in the late 16th century. New Croft Hall, also in Urmston, was the residence of a wealthy freeman and may have been moated. Urmston was only one of three manors in Trafford to have had two medieval halls, the others being Hale and Timperley. Neither of the halls has survived to the present day.
